Dr. Nick Avianto has wanted to be a pediatric dentist since he was in the first grade, talking about his trips to the dentist on the playground. After all those years he’s finally able to live out this dream of creating a warm, comfortable, and fun environment for all his young patients, alleviating some of that anxiety he remembers feeling surrounding his early dental visits.
Dr. Nick grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey as the oldest of four siblings, each five years apart. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Miami. He then received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. At Penn, Dr. Nick graduated with honors in Community Oral Health, was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and volunteered with various children’s organizations including Youth Emergency Services and the Special Olympics. This is also where Dr. Nick met his wife, Dr. Niki!
To further pursue his passion for treating and caring for children, Dr. Nick completed a two-year residency program specializing in pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado, where he was honored with the role of Chief Resident. Dr. Nick furthered his specialization in pediatric dentistry by becoming a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).
Although he discovered his favorite beaches in southern Florida and hiked beautiful mountains in Colorado, Dr. Nick could not resist working next door to where he learned how to ride his bike at Saddle River County Park in Ridgewood. He is dedicated to giving back and providing the utmost care and patience to a community that has already given him so much.
Dr. Nick looks forward to meeting you!
